Following a disappointing outing last weekend, where Kentucky barely squeaked out a win over FCS opponent UT-Chattanooga 28-23, head coach Mark Stoops is ready to bounce back this Saturday.
Stoops and his Wildcats (3-0) will hit the road for the first time of the 2021 season when they head down to Columbia for a battle against the South Carolina Gamecocks (2-1). Kentucky is currently a 5-point favorite to take down USC in a couple of days, which will kickoff at 7 p.m. EST on ESPN2.
Ahead of the team’s departure, Stoops met with the media on Thursday afternoon to discuss the crowd atmosphere that is expected at South Carolina, his thoughts on the recruiting trail, how the Gamecocks will defend Wan’Dale Robinson, and much more.
