Saturday morning Kentucky finished up their sixth spring practice for 2021 and the defense was able to get the upper-hand on the offense. However, the head football coach started the media session by showing his respects to a recently passed Kentucky legend.
“I’d like to start with sending my condolences to the family and friends of coach Howard Schnellenberger. We lost a great person and a great coach in Coach Schnellenberger. Got his start as an All-American and a great football player at the University of Kentucky, assistant coach, and of course, he went on to have a great career as a head coach.
