Former Wildcat Lonnie Johnson is still a rookie in the NFL, but he certainly didn’t look like one during his scoop-and-score touchdown against the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s AFC Divisional Round. His quick reaction time gave Johnson his first touchdown of his professional career with the Texans.
Johnson went into the end zone standing up after recovering a forced fumble following a blocked punt. His efforts put the Texans up 13-0 over the Chiefs early in the game. Take a look:
Following his touchdown, Johnson got back to work on defense. His tackle of Travis Kelce forced a 3rd down for the Chiefs.
