It was all smiles for Kentucky men’s basketball on Saturday afternoon.
Down in Knoxville, the Wildcats overcame a slow start out of the gate to take down the No. 5 Tennessee Volunteers by a final score of 63-56. It was a feel-good win all-around for UK, which came into this matchup with a 10-6 overall record and a disappointing 1-3 mark in the SEC. But something clicked for the ‘Cats as they went on to pick up their biggest win of the season so far.
Kentucky hit enough free throws down the stretch to shut down the Vols.
