There weren’t many leftovers from the 2020 offensive coaching staff, but Jovon Bouknight is back in Lexington, Ky. for his second season coaching the wide receivers. The record-breaking wideout at Wyoming recorded 3,626 receiving yards 29 touchdowns while playing for the Cowboys from 2002-05.
After Kentucky had the worst passing offense in the SEC last season, things are looking up for Bouknight and his unit. The Wildcats got great news when super senior Josh Ali returned and Nebraska transfer Wan’Dale Robinson enrolled for spring practice. Add that in with some big-time recruiting wins in the class of 2021, and there is some positive buzz surrounding Bouknight’s unit.
