Before Kentucky‘s pre-Georgia practice Friday afternoon, John Calipari had a few things to get off his chest. Calipari held his weekly press conference from the Joe Craft Center to preview the matchup against the Bulldogs in Saturday’s game and to provide updates on his roster, including the addition of Shaedon Sharpe and the latest on Sahvir Wheeler and TyTy Washington.
As a bonus, Calipari went off on a mini-rant about halfcourt screens, like the one that injured Wheeler at LSU, and how they’re similar to blindside blocks in the NFL. He suggested putting a rule in place to protect unsuspecting players, similar to the penalty in football for blindsiding.
