John Calipari took some time on his radio show earlier tonight to straighten up some misconceptions about his seven former Kentucky players who made the upcoming NBA All-Star Game rosters.
Calipari pointed out to naysayers that those seven players had combined records of 226-39 during their UK careers. He added that they were 105-19 in the SEC, won 5 regular season titles, won 4 tournament titles, advanced to 5 Elite Eights, made it to 4 Final Fours and won a national title.
“We should cheer these kids. We should be so happy because of what they’ve done for us,” Calipari added.
