It was certainly the tale of two halves in Baton Rouge, but the Kentucky Wildcats left Louisiana with a 79-76 win. The Cats finished the late-night game shooting 47.5 percent from the field, 50 percent from the three-point line and 75 percent from the charity stripe.
Immanuel Quickley led all scorers with 21 points. The sophomore guard also tallied six assists, grabbed four rebounds and committed just one turnover in 37 minutes. Tyrese Maxey, Nick Richards, Nate Sestina and Ashton Hagans also hit double-digit scoring against the Tigers. Senior guard Skylar Mays led LSU with 17 points.
