6-0 Frederick Douglass Broncos defeated 4-1 Scott County Cardinals 41-0 in front of a packed stadium in Georgetown on Friday night. The Broncos’ victory extended the school’s winning streak to six in the heated rivalry matchup. Douglass jumped out to a quick 14-0 first-quarter lead following a 70-yard touchdown pass from Cole Carpenter to Tylon Webb and a Cameron Dunn punt return for a score. The Broncos never looked back and its defense took control of the football game for the remainder of the evening.
