The Kentucky football team’s first round of spring practices may be underway, but that didn’t stop one football player from getting out and spending time in the community. Luke Fortner, an offensive lineman for the Cats, spend the day reading to a group of second graders and Picadome Elementary School. And what a day it was for those kiddos.
He started off with some small talk, saying “One time I was in second grade… I didn’t have a smart board.” Why not? Well, according to one student, “that was in the olden days!”
