Dickie V just won the biggest championship of them all.

On Thursday, legendary ESPN sportscaster Dick Vitale announced that he has “zero cancer currently” and that his final rounds of chemotherapy have been completed. The 82-year-old had been battling lymphoma and melanoma since 2021. Vitale was cleared to “ring the bell” after the completion of his cancer treatment.

“It was RING THE BELL TIME! Yes it was a tough 7 months but it was super hearing Dr. Brown say that I have zero cancer currently,” Vitale wrote in a tweet. “I was inspired daily by the famous words of my late buddy Jimmy V ‘Don’t Give up DON’T EVER GIVE UP!
