We have our first buzzer-beater of the NBA restart, and it comes from former Kentucky Wildcats star Devin Booker.
With the Clippers and Suns tied at 115 in the closing seconds, Booker hit a spinning fade-away jumper as the buzzer sounded to give Phoenix a 117-115 win.
Booker finished the game with a game-high 35 points on 13/25 shooting, including 6/9 from deep. He also chipped in a game-high eight assists.
The win was massive for Booker and the Suns. They not only beat a Clippers team who may very well represent the Western Conference in the NBA Finals, but also kept the Suns’ slim playoff hopes alive.
