One of Jager Burton’s goals as a young football player at Frederick Douglass High School was to become an All-American. The state’s highest-ranked football prospect checked that goal off the list, but the pandemic had other plans.
This year’s All-American Bowl was canceled out of health and safety concerns. NBC Sports cannot replicate that game experience virtually, but they’re still shining a spotlight on each athlete. Barton Simmons, 247 Sports Director of Scouting, broke down Burton’s play in the NBC Sports Network series.
“Jager Burton is one of the most athletic offensive linemen in the class of 2021,” Simmons said.
