On Tuesday, Kentucky introduced its three new assistant football coaches. After losing Liam Coen, Jon Sumrall, and Eric Wolford, the Wildcats attempt to reload with some new coaching talent.
Mark Stoops was up first, and the head coach explained the process of losing Coen and eventually landing on Rich Scangarello. The quarterbacks coach with the San Francisco 49ers is a member of the Kyle Shanahan coaching tree and runs a very similar scheme to the one Coen installed in Lexington.
Once Stoops wrapped up, Scangarello took the podium and addressed the media for 15 minutes.
