The Washington Commanders signed former Kentucky running back Chris Rodriguez to their practice squad on Wednesday.
Rodriguez failed to make the team’s 53-man regular season roster after a difficult preseason.
The 2023 sixth-round pick appeared in 13 regular-season games for the Commanders in his rookie year. He had 51 carries for 247 yards and 2 touchdowns.
