In November of 2018, Frankfort native Wan’Dale Robinson committed to Kentucky and seemed ready to take on the role of hometown hero.
However, just weeks later, the top-100 recruit had a change of heart and opted to leave his home state of Kentucky, as he would decommit and instead head west to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
The decision seemed wise for Robinson as in two years at Nebraska, he made a total of 91 catches for 914 yards and ran for 580 yards and four scores. Despite his success in the Big Ten, Robinson opted to transfer out of Nebraska after the 2020 season and signed on to join the Wildcats two years after that change of heart.
