Wan’Dale Robinson was playing the best football of his rookie season when the former Kentucky Wildcat suffered an injury that sidelined him for the year. The New York Giants are now optimistic he will be ready to pick up right where he left off this fall.
The Frankfort native was targeted 31 times as a rookie. Thirteen of those targets were in one game against the Detroit Lions. He had nine receptions for 100 yards when his progress came to an abrupt halt.
Robinson suffered a torn ACL in the Giants’ 31-18 loss to the Lions.
