Kentucky just picked up their first big portal commitment of the season on Saturday when Virginia Tech wide receiver Tayvion Robinson pledged to the Wildcats.
Liam Coen’s offense just added a big-time playmaker.
A former top-500 recruit in the class of 2019, Robinson played three seasons for Justin Fuente at Virginia Tech and was an instant contributor as soon as he arrived on campus. The Virginia Beach (Va.) Frank W. Cox product reeled in 31 receptions and served as the primary punt returner for the Hokies as a true freshman.
That continued as the 5-foot-10 slot receiver took on bigger roles the next two seasons in the Virginia Tech offense.
