No, this was not the oft-repeated storyline for Kentucky football. It was the situation Wildcat tight ends coach Vince Marrow found himself in as a player at Toledo, Kentucky’s 2019 season-opening opponent.
Heading into an Oct. 1991 game against Ohio, then-Toledo coach Gary Pinkel decided his offense needed to find a way to get Marrow the ball more.
