Unexpected players steal the show at Kentucky's NFL pro day

Kentucky football players who either weren’t invited or couldn’t perform at the NFL Scouting Combine showed scouts what they could do at UK’s Pro Day on Friday.

Players who already competed at the NFL Combine (namely, Josh Allen) participated in little to no performance drills. Benny Snell Jr. tried the vertical jump (29.5 inches, the same as his result in the Combine) and Lonnie Johnson ran the 40-yard dash (4.39 seconds, over half a second faster than his Combine time of 4.52.) Allen and most other Combine participants were there to support teammates. All 40 times were unofficial.
