247 Sports’ Chris Fisher dove into the stats to compare last season’s stellar play from Tyler Ulis and Jamal Murray to De’Aaron Fox and Malik Monk. So far, the new kids on the block are setting a record breaking pace:
Through 13 games, Fox has recorded 89 assists, 12 ahead of Ulis’ pace last season when he went on to break John Wall’s single-season assist record, handing out 246.
Monk, meanwhile, is on pace to break Murray’s freshman scoring record, pouring in 291 points (22.3 points per game) compared to Murray’s 218 through 13 games.
