With their season on the line, UK football fell short against the Louisville Cardinals for the fifth straight time in the series with the in-state rivals.
After showing signs of hope and jumping out to a 21-point lead in the first quarter, the team was a no-show in the second half allowing 31 unanswered points as the Cardinals would go on to win 38-24.
The Cats started the game strong by building a 21-7 lead in the first quarter. UK scored on their opening drive off a QB keeper from Drew Barker to go up 7-0.
