Upsets are part of college athletics.
In fact, it’s one of the best things about it. Just this past spring, a No. 1 seed finally fell to a No. 16 seed in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament during March Madness.
Well, on Thursday night another No. 1 seed lost to a No. 16 seed. This time it was women’s softball. The Kentucky Wildcats upset the Oregon Ducks in the Eugene Super Regionals and are now one win away from the Women’s College World Series.
The Cats got out to an early lead over the Ducks and never looked back.
