After another successful season, the University of Kentucky is doing its part to make sure Mark Stoops’ staff sticks around. The UK Office of Legal Counsel released details on contract extensions for offensive coordinator Eddie Gran, defensive coordinator Brad White, linebackers coach Jon Sumrall, and defensive backs coach Steve Clinkscale. Details of new defensive line coach Anwar Stewart’s deal were also posted.
On December 16, only days following speculation he would take the head coaching job at Florida Atlantic, Gran signed an extension with Kentucky that will pay him $950,000 per year through June 2023 (so, the 2022 season), an increase from his previous salary of $875,000 per season.
