Kennth Horsey is sharing his story to help others in the Lexington community that need your help.
The reserve UK offensive guard just completed his redshirt freshman season. He’s lucky to still be playing football.
During his senior year of high school, doctors discovered a bacterial infection in his heart. Horsey underwent open heart surgery to remove the infection. Luckily, he was able to completely recover after spending months on the sideline, returning just in time to join the team as a redshirt for UK’s historic ten-win 2018 season.
This week Horsey shared his story in front of hundreds to kick off the Central Kentucky Heart Walk campaign.
