The Canadian National Team’s head coach, Jay Triano, spoke about Murray’s situation today with SNY.tv:
“The biggest hurdle we’re going to have is the University of Kentucky because we want to make sure he does everything right by the school,” he said. “Obviously, we want him to be a part of our team and that’s something we’re going to have to work out over the next couple of weeks.”
Triano spoke highly of Murray, hoping to have the budding superstar on his squad as the Canadian team tries to make the Olympics for the first time since Steve Nash helped them finish 7th back in 2000.
