UK is moving on up ESPN’s SEC Power Rankings

After the Cats got their first SEC road win since 2009 over South Carolina Saturday, the college football world is starting to take notice of what’s going on in Lexington. ESPN’s Greg Ostendorf moved Kentucky up four spots to number nine in this week’s SEC Power Rankings, right behind Missouri and right ahead of Florida.

9. Kentucky (2-0): For the first time since 2009, Kentucky returned home from an SEC road game with a victory. The Wildcats snapped a 20-game conference losing streak on the road with Saturday’s 26-22 win over South Carolina.
