UK has 'to be smart enough' amid excess fouls

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State students formed a line outside Humphrey Coliseum five hours before tipoff against Kentucky on Tuesday.

The first ones there got the seats closest to the court and they, like Southeastern Conference associate commissioner for basketball Dan Leibovitz, were on hand to see the best team and some of the best players in the league.

"This feels like a game many years ago when we were better," a fifth-year student on the front row said. "None of the games this season have felt like this."

The student section was packed and loud an hour before the game and everybody had a handout with instructions for cheers.
