Jen Smith over at the Herald-Leader’s football division did some number-checking around UK football season ticket sales and found that the numbers are down from this time a year ago.
According to Smith’s story, only about 28,800 season ticket packages have been sold so far with only two months remaining on the kickoff countdown. Around 32,000 had been sold at this time last year, she writes, for about a 10 percent decline going into a season with a star-studded roster.
