Jackson Schulz from super-program Trinity High School in Louisville announced he will attend the University of Kentucky and play for Mark Stoops as a walk-on. A 6-foot-2 safety, Schulz held NAIA offers from Lindsay Wilson and Campbellsville, but seized the opportunity to play at UK. He thanked assistant coach Mark Perry, an offensive analyst, for the spot on the team.
“I want to thank My Family, My Friends, and My Coaches that have helped me become a better player and teammate throughout the years,” Schulz tweeted. “I would also like to thank Coach Perry and the University of Kentucky Football Staff for giving me this opportunity to play at the next level.
