The Utah basketball team chartered a plane to get to Lexington for Saturday’s game and two Kentucky fans from Salt Lake City snuck on board for a ride to the Bluegrass.
According to the game broadcast, Utah offered spots on the plane to several of its boosters. When head coach Larry Krystkowiak made his way around the plane to thank each booster for their support, he saw two unfamiliar faces in the crowd.
“He saw one couple he had never seen before,” ESPN’s Tom Hart said during the game. “So he introduced himself and said, ‘Great to see you guys.
