An unprecedented number of college football players will enter transfer this offseason. M.J. Devonshire is the first Kentucky Wildcat to make the move.
Devonshire, a redshirt freshman cornerback from Aliquippa, PA, announced his intentions to leave the University of Kentucky Thursday afternoon on Instagram.
A four-star prospect by Rivals, Devonshire was UK’s only National Signing Day addition in 2019. On track to play as a true freshman, he was abruptly sidelined by a wrist injury two games into the season. Despite the setback, he still played in three games, totaling five tackles and a pass break up in his rookie year.
