One future Kentucky Wildcat shined on the biggest stage in Alabama high school football. Unfortunately, Christian Lewis’ Pleasant Grove High School came up short in the state championship for the second consecutive season.
The wide receiver showed off his explosiveness at Bryant-Denny Stadium, scoring a 76-yard touchdown in the first minute of the second half to give Pleasant Grove a 21-10 lead in the Class 5A title game. It was Lewis’ second touchdown of the day, scoring on a first quarter slant by stretching the ball just past the end line.
Touchdown Pleasant Grove!
