Coach Cal waking up the Big Blue Nation early this morning with a huge commitment from five-star power forward E.J. Montgomery. The 6-foot-10, 215-pound forward was at one time leaning towards the Duke Blue Devils, but Coach Cal made it known he was a top target for the Cats, while the Blue Devils were looking at other options.
Montgomery joins Tyler Herro, Immanuel Quickley, and Keldon Johnson in a four-man class. Kentucky could still land 2019 five-star point guard Ashton Hagans, who appears to reclassify to the 2018 class and be a Kentucky Wildcat.
