The Cats overcame a slow start in the first half to crush Team Toronto 94-60 in Kentucky’s final game in the Bahamas. Kentucky went 4-0 during the exhibition matchups.
The Wildcats held a 20-15 lead heading into the last few minutes of the first half, but a 19-4 run over the final four minutes and change gave the Cats a comfortable halftime lead that they never relinquished.
Reid Travis finally showed his stuff. The graduate transfer poured in 19 points and snagged 15 boards. Sunday’s finale was by far his game of the trip.
