The Kentucky Wildcats are in danger of having their 2016-17 season stricken from the record books.
According to a new report from Yahoo, former Wildcat Edrice ‘Bam’ Adebayo was involved with ASM Agency, who allegedly gave Bam or someone close to him a $36,000 loan while he was in high school.
Adebayo’s eligibility could subsequently be affected by this. If the documents are true and Bam did receive that amount of money, then he could be ruled ineligible and that cause the NCAA to vacate the 2016-2017 season.
Now, Brandon Clifford, who coached Bam at High Point Christian Academy, spoke with the Lexington Herald-Leader about his former player’s involvement in this scandal.
