LEXINGTON, Ky. --- Apparently 14 hits, a triple play and the largest crowd in Cliff Hagan Stadium history was the formula needed for the No. 13 Kentucky baseball team to snap a six-game losing streak against No. 2 Louisville with an 11-7 win Tuesday.
Kentucky jumped out to an early lead with five runs in the first inning. Right fielder Tristan Pompey led off the inning with a double off the wall in right field that just missed being a home run. First baseman Evan White followed with a walk, and the two runners advanced a base each on left fielder Zach Recks’ sacrifice bunt.
