The #17 Kentucky Baseball team had to rally in the bottom of the eighth inning to take the weekend series over SEC for Mississippi State Bulldogs. The Bulldogs struck first in the game with an RBI single in the first inning. Then the game turned into a pitching duel until the Bat Cats found their groove in the bottom half of the eighth inning where they scored four runs. Kentucky closed the door in ninth to win the series against the Bulldogs. The Cats will go for the sweep tomorrow in the last regular season game at The Cliff, and potentially last game as a whole played at Cliff Hagan Stadium as next year Kentucky Baseball team will move into the $49 million dollar new stadium.
