Immediately, the imagination of Big Blue Nation ran wild. Could it be new uniforms? Perhaps an announcement that Dontaie Allen would make a his debut this week? Dare I even guess that beer would now be allowed at home games?
Not exactly.
When it was time for the special announcement, Nick Richards came to the podium and announced the ‘Pick Nick & Quick’ campaign for postseason honors for himself and Quickley.
Both Richards and Quickley have been playing at an All-American level this season, so it makes sense for UK to start a campaign that endorses both of them for postseason honors like All-SEC picks, SEC Player of the Year, All-American selections, and perhaps even a positional player of the year award.
