When it comes to recruiting, the University of Louisville women’s basketball program has been doing more on the court than its counterpart at the University of Kentucky, while spending a lot less.
Kentucky’s program rang up more than $2 million in recruiting costs — $541,553 of it over budget — the past five years, which was more than three times as much as Louisville, according to figures provided by each school to the Courier Journal.
