2019 Kentucky commit Tyrese Maxey, not only believes he is the country’s best guard but that he can also aid in recruiting the top player in the 2019 class: James Wiseman.
In an interview with USA Today Sports’ Jason Jordan, Maxey opened up about life as a high school star, as well as who he’s recruiting to join him in Lexington.
Part of why Maxey thinks Wiseman will join the Cats is his favorite player is former Cat Anthony Davis.
“That’s a good thing for us,” Maxey said. “My favorite player is John Wall and I picked Kentucky.
