This time, it's sophomore point guard Tyler Ulis, who was one of 30 players named on the 2015 Lute Olson Award preseason watch list. The award is presented annually at the end of each season to the nation's top player who has played at least two seasons of college basketball.
Ulis, a preseason All-SEC selection, appeared in 37 games during the 2014-15 season and led the Wildcats in assists in 20 contests. He finished his freshman season ranked No. 3 in the country and No. 1 in the SEC with a 3.6 assist-to-turnover ratio, and is expected to be not only the lead guard on a Final Four-contending UK squad, but may end up being the nation's best guard.
