Tyler Herro, Keldon Johnson bounce back after “childish” play at Tennessee

On Saturday, cameras captured John Calipari lighting into Tyler Herro during the Tennessee game, a rant Cal said was a long time coming after the freshman repeatedly ignored his instructions. Last night, Herro responded with a markedly better effort, finishing with 20 points off 8-12 from the floor. Same for Keldon Johnson, who had a team-high 22 points after scoring only seven in Knoxville.

“They want to do well,” Cal said. “One of them apologized to me for something that was said and the other apologized for his play. I said I’m not worried you apologizing for play, it’s about attitude.
