LEXINGTON, Ky. - Tyler Herro will enter the NBA draft but is leaving the door open for a possible return to Kentucky.
On Friday, Herro announced he would enter the draft but would take the steps needed to preserve his college eligibility in case he does not receive the feedback from teams he hopes for in private workouts and at the NBA combine.
New NCAA rules allow players to sign with an agent — and Herro said he plans to — while testing the draft waters and still return to school as long as they terminate the agreement with the agent before doing so.
