A National Championship-winning head coach will return to coaching in the state of Kentucky Tuesday night.
No, the BBN will not once again hear the Rupp Arena PA announce, “Orlandoooooooo ‘Tubby’ Smith.” The man who guided the Comeback Cats to a title in 1998 has still not returned to coach in a game in Lexington. Tonight he will be at MacBrayer Arena when the Eastern Kentucky Colonels take on the High Point Panthers.
Smith is in his third season as the head coach of his alma mater. In his first two seasons the Panthers accumulated a 25-38 record.
