The Kentucky football program has added yet another in-state standout, earning a commitment from Corbin star athlete Treyveon Longmire.
In an appearance on Kentucky Sports Radio this morning, the four-star prospect chose the Wildcats over 20 total scholarship offers, including the likes of West Virginia, Louisville and Virginia Tech.
“My final schools were West Virginia, Louisville, Kentucky, Virginia Tech and a couple others,” he said. “(But) for the next three to four years I will be attending Kentucky.”
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete says the UK coaching staff felt like “family,” something he was looking for throughout the recruiting process.
