On the bright-side, Trey Lyles does not need to go house hunting in a new NBA city. On the other hand, he’s going to spend another year playing for the Sacramento Kings.
Ahead of NBA free agency the Kings picked up Lyles’ $2.6 million team option to keep him on the Sacramento roster for the 2022-23 season. He was a midseason addition to the Kings’ roster after they sent former top two pick Marvin Bagley to the Detroit Pistons.
Trey Lyles started in 20 of the 24 games he appeared in for the Kings.
