Travis Perry is in elite company. The sharp-shooting junior from Lyon County is now one of only two Kentucky high school basketball players to score 4,000 career points.
Perry had 32 points in a 66-61 over Bracken County Saturday night. He now has 4,022 career points, second only to the “King,” Wayland’s Kelly Coleman. As Perry climbs up the record books, stats take a backseat to wins for the Lyons.
“Business comes first. Winning comes first at all times,” said Perry on WLAP Sunday Morning Sports Talk. “The main goal is making it back to Rupp Arena.
