The Kentucky Wildcats are set to open SEC play Saturday against the Missouri Tigers.
Ahead of the game, assistant coach Tony Barbee and select players met with the media to preview their first SEC matchup. One of the big talking points was freshman forward Kahlil Whitney, a former five-star top-15 recruit who has struggled adjusting to the college game.
But that hasn’t hurt the confidence of his coaches and teammates, as they believe a breakout is coming.
