For Ulis, it is his second time returning home. Last season, he played 18 minutes in Kentucky’s rout of UCLA in Chicago’s United Center, with a complete game of seven points, six assists and a career-high seven rebounds.
This year he heads back as the leader of the team, but Cal doesn’t expect him to struggle, as most guys do in homecoming games.
“I think Tyler will be fine,” said Cal, yesterday. “Tyler is a different cat. He has a different way of doing things.”
“I’m anxious for him to get home and let him see family, and Charles the same thing.
